Parent Education

Parent Education classes are offered once a month on the third Thursday beginning at 6pm. Classes are free to attend for families of current students and $5 per family for families who do not currently have a student attending. Childcare is provided at these sessions free of charge, but reservations of childcare slots must be made in advance.

Our next class will be on TOPIC on DATE AND TIME. Please reserve your childcare by emailing

Please see below for a brief description of the class, or our other class offerings.

Silent Journey

Many Montessori schools offer a Silent Journey. It is an opportunity for families to view the classroom from their child's perspective. Through this process they will develop an understanding of what their children do all day, and how that supports their learning and growth.

Respectful Discipline

A class that examines the heart of what "discipline" really means and how it applies to children. Through this class families will come to learn evidence-based discipline methods and how to appropriately respond to the undesirable behaviors that their children may display. Please feel free to think of examples of discipline issues with your own child so we may answer your questions directly.

Toileting

Teaching a child to use the potty is something parents often find intimidating, but it doesn't need to be. Here, we will hopefully take the fear out of potty training by explaining what we do in our classrooms and why it works so well. We will also make sure to answer any questions parents might have about beginning their part of the process at home.
